Just kiddin', it's sandhill cranes.
70-300 Nikkor D, hand held @ 300mm and 1/250, so it's a little unsharp.
Shot from the driver's seat as usual. I just stopped in the middle of the road and got the shot.

HAH- woodpeckers- you are a riot ! I hope there is no traffic when you decide to STOP for your wonderful roadside captures -:) This is really nice ! thanx for the sunset too-AHHHHH -me sighing. We will be in Great Guana Cay in just a couple more weeks - I'll wave to ya !

Yeah, I didn't think I could imagine them sitting pecking at a trunk. Nice picture, with the two of them poised in the same way.
