 Week 6. Green Apple and lucky baboo for green color theme this month. One of the outtake for Apple II challenge. Decided to submit the different setup in the challenge.

Very nice still life, although I think the red overpowers the green a bit.

I like the contrasting colors, the green stuff really stands out. And I like the nice soft light on the subjects. What I don't like is that the background is more brightly lit than the subjects. I wonder if you could get a little more brightness on the subjects without losing the softness.

Thanks for your comment. No, I am not doing good in Apple Challenge. I am sitting at 5.26. May be I should have submitted this one with the improvement suggested by everyone.

Agree with others that red overpowers green, but I still like the elements you chose for this composition. Maybe needs a little more interesting lighting toward the bottom.

Seems like an odd mix. Not sure the apples and bamboo work well together. I like the colors though.

Neat set up! I like the bright backlighting, but would like to have seen just a bit more lighting from the front or sides on the apples. The bamboo is lit just right, though.

I really like the bamboo, and feel the color saturation is just fine. It is the apples that seem odd here - out of place like they don't belong.

Very nice! Might have popped the greens a little more... your theme is GREEN after all... the reds seem more prominent in this shot.
