My first idea was to use a blender....but the fish was quite distorted in the blender...so I went with just a simple fish bowl. Also my intention was not to use a white background,(which is actually my softbox) but a blue one, but I was just to lazy and running out of time to switch it out. I know this has been done over and over again...but I think it is still cute. Expecting around a 5.8, would be very pleased with a 6.3. There was alot of blue in the picture...so I had to use some desaturation on the blue channel. The marbles had some blue in them, that is why they lost some of the color. I hesitate to submit this....but here goes.

I love the concept; fortunately the top of the bowl is smaller than the cat's head!! Had to be a tough shot due to the reflection off of the glass, water, etc. Like the cat's attitude and how you captured his intensity and concentration! Nina

Good shot. A little over exposed up the middle of the shot and the fish seems to lack detail. But I love the composition. You either have a very discipline cat or a very dead fish.....

Nice, classic shot. Like the red/orange color to balance the shot.

Excellent shot! Poor fishy doesn't look like he has even 24 minutes left let alone 24 hrs!

This, I like. You almost want to give him/her the fish.
