entry for posthumous BO2008

i knew the processing wouldn't sit well with most, but photo asked for it. had to leave the tag because it matched the roof.

P did not know this was mine (but i would not have accepted ribbon had it been awarded)

i thought there was something familiar about the style. i have to tell you that i do not get the title so feel free to enlighten me. and I am one who does love this kind of processing! the smidge of cow in this is wonderful!

Cool that Don didn't know it was yours! I really liked this and loved the processing. Very effective.

Reminiscent of a watercolor painting, nicely composed, good POI.

Normally I would hate the painted processing but it seems to work for this image. I'd prefer it cropped just below the white framed access door on the top.

Utterly delightful. If I could say why, it would reveal too much about my inner being.

Best title in challenge. Oddly enough, though I can't abide the processing I still love the underlying photograph. If it really was a painting it would be a good 'un.

Punky soft, geometric barn wood frames bovine rendered in layers of summer seasonal water colour.

Too far from photography for me. However, unlike another photo in this challenge that I mentioned I liked but wouldn't hang on my wall, I'd hang this one.

wow--a beautiful image. The effect is so complete, so strong, that I mentally switch between thinking I am seeing a photograph processed to look like a watercolor, or a watercolor that has been photographed. The rich reds, particularly in the lower part of the image, are beautiful.

I really like the colors and textures of this. The cow and shed is a "picture within a picture" that is balanced by the white-outlined door on the upper right. I just wish the railing weren't there; it pulls me out of the picture to the right.

Love the title. Love the image (as distinct from its processing). Am lukewarm on the "art" filter, I rarely care for images that have been processed to look like paintings. In this particular case, it actually works quite well for me, in the context that I usally *hate* the effect, but still... I'm wondering what the *real* picture looks like?

Regardless, well seen! Great title! The flirtatious cow, what a concept!

I can see this on a wall... easily ... with some modern furniture ... adding spice to it all. I'd have removed the eartag... but that's it.
