 When the show is over, the stars come out and take a bow, with a spotlight shining on them. In the background is a curtain which is hiding the stage. But the theme of the show is on display: flora as it was in its lively and vibrant heyday. The End.

Beautiful idea and wonderful execution. Must say I do agree with the comments about the BG, but hey, can't win them all :) (and who'd want to anyway??)

I like the rose, I like the shadow, I like the background pattern, I like the light, but the composition doesn't grab me.

WOW! Absolute stunner of an image. One of the best in the challenge and deserving of a ribbon. Fantastic lighting and superb detail. Fits the challenge so very very well. I love the wallpaper and the shadow of the plant against it. The wilted flower adds a strong feeling of despair and lonelyless.

the light is a little harsh. if the light was warmer and if the focus was a little softer I'd like this more. Also, I dont look on the flower when I see this image, I focus on the middle of the stem. Uncentering the subject would help to bring the attention to the flower.

nice. I like the hard lighting. not too sure about the bright background though. think this would look nicer against a dark background to maintain the mood
