Getting fanciful with another Junco. The highlight behind him is actually the hubcap on my neighbor's minivan ;-)

Another good bird photo with a really good catch-light in the eye. I don't know this type of bird at all - we don't have them in the UK certainly. In body shape they resemble a stocky sparrow - are they in the same family? The highlight in the background works well, setting off the bird nicely - would never have thought it was from a hubcap!

its head tends to blend into the background a little too much for me
perhaps a tad contrast might help

but as for sharpness its one of your best

You have such a beautiful collection of birdshots. I love your soft backgrounds. That hubcap highlight is so soft, no-one would know what it is, but it contributes to the range of tones in the bg.
