I took some time and trials with both the camerasettings and the lights, to make this illusion look as real as possible, but I guess it looked to real huh? But isn't that the point of an illusion?
Anyhow, thanks for the nice comments and being concerned about my hand. And both apoligizes are accepted :-)
For those who thought it was not an illusion, here's a way to find out yourself:: Lite a match, grab it firmly, wait till the flame reaches your skin and make a photo without moving :-) |

| Don't see an illusion. See a good, clear photo of a person holding a lit match. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll give you 8 for the photo and take off 4 for no illusion. If I'm wrong I apologize |

| Very cool! Had to look real close to figure out this one! Wish more of the thumb showed, it appears to be detached from the rest of the hand. |

| you could have put the flame behind the hand, eliminating the match altogether. As this is, its not really an illusion, just someone holding a match. Good clarity on the photo. Its also a candidate for rule of thirds, with thumb and flame being on lines of thirds. |
