Cool flight shot. They are quite difficult to get well. That looks like a very large meal for such a small bird.

This bird looks similar in physical build to the night herons that are here in Florida. You had excellent light for this, and the sharpness is very good for a flight shot. It's a good image.

hi Ter, the camera was Nikon D70 with 300mm AF-S f/4 and the 1.7 multiplier. 1/400s f/6.7

Great flight shot! Body is sharp and just a bit of motion blur in the wings. Cool bird, too, and quite a large fish he's got.
