One studio light, shot in the entry way of my house.
Liquid Eyeliner + Water= Black Tears
Minor editing, auto levels and auto contrast and I was done.

I'm not sure I like the spot-lighted look, how her face seems to just pop out of the darkness. But otherwise nicely done.

I think the make up is really effective - except - the whites of her eyes are too white.

Her face (excepting the eyes) really give a sense of fear. It is a shame that something couldn't have been done to redden those eyes (a bit of chilli maybe lol)

So many "tape over the mouth" images in this challenge. I have lost count.
It just does not evoke the feeling of "Silence" to me. I get the message behind your image but just feel it does not convey "Silence" in a very effective way. This to me says "Silenced" but not "Silence" 5

Bold statement. I think whatever is going on at the bottom of this shot could be cropped out. Just pulls my eye away from a great shot of the face/tape. IMO. I like it though, well done.

The focal point should be the highlight in the eye rather than the paper.

Nice shot. However, I feel that it could be much more powerful with a bit of cropping.
