Beautiful detail in the feathers. I wish there was more light on the birds face. I might have tried a filter>render>lighting effects using the omni light on the face. It's tricky to get it just right, but it can do a very nice job of adding light to important areas that are in shadow. I have used it on faces that are shaded by baseball caps. You might be able to achieve the feel of a second source of light being reflected from water below the bird. |

Great background and I enjoylthe lighting here. Plus you have great detail in the feathers but also a smoothness to them. Nice work. |

Love the bokeh. Beautiful tones in the background. With the light were on his face and not his wing. |
