 Of course, I am a Star Trek Fan. Romulan Ale is blue. This is actually blue cool-aid. This was shot using my shop lights with the new 200 watt bulbs and B&H Impact umbrellas. The primary concern during my shoot was sharpness and focus. I think I have achieved both better than I have ever done before.

I know that square crops are not always to people's liking, but it might work here, eliminating part of her arm and shoulder. I love the use of negative space in a portrait. Nice going.

This is nicely focussed. I think that the eyes bother me a bit. I know that they are both going the same way, but because the far one is turned so hard towards the nose it looks 'turned'.

i agree, the only thing bothering me is how forward her shoulder is (the one closest to the camera) its kinda obscuring the rest of the shot. But yes, im so glad to see your work improving!
