Used a sparkler that I had left over from a long ago 4th of July to create fire and smoke. Cropped and adusted Levels, Brightness, Contrast, Hue, Saturation.
This was the worst radio I ever had, I had no problem sacrificing it!

In my opinion, not one of the best in this challenge. Definately the funniest though. Very original. 7

Nicely executed but I don't get a real feeling of silence from it. 5

good: give it to them! i think after the initial ruckus there may be silence. nice capture of sparks and smoke. pretty well balanced image. clear and pretty sharp.

bad: i'd have to say that the lighting isn't that good. with the exception of the flash everything seems a little dark. I think you could have boosted the exposre/brightness a little to show some detail in the radio dial and knife handle. the sparks are blown anyway, i don't thing boosting the brightness would hurt.

Very well done. I marked it lower than some others simply because there are other photos that I like better, personally. But I wanted to let you know that I liked it very much. The only thing that bothered me was it seemed a little too centered. I'd be tempted to have the main image down in the lower left and have more counter (or whatever your background is) on the left.

thanks!
