| This is really cool. I have never seen such eyes on a bug -- really cool. Thank you for sharing your editing steps, it was definitely a lot of work but I think the resul is well worth it. |

| Holy cow! I can't believe the eyes on this little guy, looks like some hand-painted glass beads I use to have...that's one ugly mug though :-) What a marvelous job of bringing out the amazing variety of colors! I love LOVE this! |

Certainly an insect I've never seen before, with eyes like that and the front legs so far forward; but I guess you're right in saying it's some kind of mantis.
Is that really stacking, or just layering? I think stacking applies to separate photos with slightly different depths of field. |
