In a last ditch attempt to worry Robt in our Fanuary FS H2H this has been my January Free Study shot since the 3rd Jan, fingers crossed I did right pulling it ;)

There's something about the slight blue tone to this that really seals the deal. Serene, but sad, too.

Very nice. I get the sense I'm looking through one of those tourist view finders.

This has a beautiful tone and mood, Andi. It's really such a wonderfully serene image.

Yeah, I'm betting the users at large would not take the time to appreciate the beauty in this image and the fact that it is the way it is on purpose :-) This is such a fabulously ethereal glimpse of the sea; the powder blue haziness is just so lovely...

Wonderful - love how you dared to keep it simple.

This has a soft melancholy feel, a subtle realization that not only do you not see a ship but probably never will again!

It makes me sad. I'm looking for someone and he is not there. Never will be there again.

Nice duo tone. I think Robt should be worried!

I always hesitate to enter LB shots...depending if I'm in the mood to hear "too blurry" or "I don't get it". This is so subtle...a quickly passing memory that makes you pause...and remember how that moment felt...the dampness on your skin, the smell of the salt...so nice.

Took me a minute to get this one. I thought this was an aerial shot! Great control of the sweet spot. Looks like fog is blowing across the water. Very nice.

The DPC masses can't appreciate the subtlety of this. It's way too artful for most of them. :~)

I think you did right to pull it. It takes more than two seconds to appreciate this image. The more time I spend with it, the more I enjoy it.

I really enjoy how you've blurred the edges, giving a sense of abstraction using the LB wide open.
