 Not only has climate change taken our lake and replaced it with a field of weeds and grass, but now it is on fire. The fire took hold last night about 1.30. This was taken at about 11.15 this morning. There are no flames visible, but 40 plus acres are smouldering.( Total lake area is about 330 acres.) Today is a day of total fire ban statewide. It is hot and VERY windy. Hopefully the firefighters have it all under control.

So sad. Long time ago when I was little, my family lived in Ballarat for a while... Looks like big storm clouds in the distance.
