Great detail -- interesting distortion through the left lens of his glasses. |

Exceptionally crisp and a well caught candid. Nice job not getting reflections in the glasses, too! |

Nice sharp portrait. Friendly face. Looks like a good lens for portraits (but that's more a note for myself). Overall it looks somewhat yellow to me, but perhaps that's just for the atmosphere. |

PAW - Excellent detail. Did you sharpen it a lot to get that detail? Nice relaxed pose and good crop. The lines on the wall following the eyesight lines are a bit distracting. Much shallower DOF or different camera angle may have helped there. |

Very nice candid. I like the details of the lines in his face and the focus on his eyes. |

I like snapshots. The perfect portrait, arguably, might be one where the subject is so relaxed and natural as to make the picture look like a snapshot. That opinion is dangerous and heretical, so beware. The sharpness works, as he's not about to be a teenage pop star :-) |

I like the prcessing here. IMO, same color tone on the face and BG takes away a lot from this wonderful image. |
