Your focus is wrong. It's on the nearest tree trunk, but that shouldn't be the subject, the subject is more the further areas. Think about what your camera is focusing on and the deepth of field. |

Nice shot but for me the lack of DOF doesn't shout Ansel Adams to me |

i'm wishing it weren't such a shallow depth of field. From what I gather one of Adams' trademarks was his sharp focus from front to back. In another challenge I'd rate this a little higher because it's not bad. |
