Taken here. Actually I think Santa Maria de Los Peñasquitos Adobe is the large ranch house next to this building, but that one is not nearly this rustic. I believe this is stone rather than adobe.

My first HDR attempt. 3 bracketed exposures 1 stop apart.
I did not use a star filter. It just turned out with a 14 point star around the sun.
HDR import in PS CS3
Forced to crop some due to using stacked UV, CPL and Grad ND filters shot at 18mm causing vignetting.

I changed the title the last day adding "Stone house at ..." and edited the details, but I must not have saved the changes. I wonder how long it will take before someone comments this isn't adobe.

I would have liked it better without the cactus on the right. The texture of the stone and the texture of the left tree are very harmonious. The cactus is too dark, too blobby, and too intrusive. If it could have been framed without the cactus, I would have given it a 10--the rest is wonderful! Thank you for entering it.
