Flash with 1/4 CTO warming gel and grid spot across the face. A LITTLE fill from the right due to a brolly that was open but no flash was firing from there for this shot.

Post was just some exposure, vibrance, sat and "clarity" in LR.

Post: I see that most didn't understand why the statue (yeah that's what the blue ball and wood is) is in the foreground... You know calm against the noise of the foreground and background shadows... Oh forget it people...

I gave you a 9. I think this shot is so so underrated.

The colors look very natural but to me and very good focus. I'm confused about the blue thing and the wooden object. They seem out of place.

I think the angle of this photograph/the subject evokes a sense of immediacy that goes against the sense of calmness for me...

The wood(?) and blue ball(?) is really distracting.. since it's hard to identify what it is. Might have suggested cropping that out so the focus is on her face.

There appear to be so many competing lines... from the drape, her arm, her dress straps, and pose, I'm just all over the place. The blue thing at her shoulder (for me) doesn't seem to fit, so I'm sorry, I'm just at a loss.

Interesting idea. Nice lighting, but that blue sphere-shaped object in front of her arm, and the (curtains?) behind her arm are distracting.

There are a lot of different elements competing here that don't really allow the photo to emphasize calmness as much as it good. The pattern of the straps around her neck compete with the pattern of the blue ball and the textured brown that she is around. Then there is the shadow in the background and harsh shadows on her arm, all different colors that clash a little bit. She is also wearing a nice diamond earring which doesn't really go with the casualness of her outfit. Many of the problems may have been solved if this had been in black and white though. Still, beautiful model and interesting concept.

I love the pose and expression. However, I'm just a little confused with the left side of the frame. Also, the shadows in the background (and everywhere, actually) are kind of distracting. Excellent lighting on her face/neck, though!
