I like the concept of this photo. The issue I have is where the light falls. The vanity is in her face, and her obsession with her looks while applying makeup. The light falling on her breasts draws the eye away from her eyes. Has the lighting been different I would have scored higher.
it's the light that draws the eye there? If you say so... But this should have finished much higher.
ROFL that is exactly what I was thinking. I know why my eyes were drawn there!

Hmmm... honestly, I don't get the sense of vanity. When I think of vanity, I think brighter, more vibrant colors. Something extravagant and ostentatious... plenty of make-up objects lying around all at the beckoning call of the subject.
I do like that this is a more intimate, personal picture... I just feel that it sort of detracts from the conveyance of personality, especially "vanity"
Very nicely lit from the front and the back. Her pose/posture and the large amount of foreground that she occupies makes her look a little bigger than I think she is (she's a very lovely model). 7 from me.
nice shot, would have been better if see had been looking at her self in the mirror but ha we carn't have any thing but all together it is a good picture 7
