| To answer your forum question, I think you entered the right one. The crop was unusual, but it worked for me and was interesting. I gave it a 6. I can see from the breakdown that a lot of people were ho-hum about it, however. I don't think I would have voted better for the outtake, but you may have gotten fewer of the really low votes and averaged better with it. |

| I usually enjoy lots of negative space, but I think that, for me, for an image like this to work there has to be something really worth looking at in the smaller space. Unfortunately, the glasses hide what is probably a very cute dog, and the glasses just aren't interesting enough to make me want to look at them for long. |
