 Playing with the new camera, trying to get some bird shots thru the kitchen window at the feeder outside. Turned the lens around on my Mom. She does love her coffee. I used the Orton Effect to play with the contrast.

The focus is a blurry...OHHHH maybe that's the idea! I know I'm a little blurry before my first cup of coffee!

Not sure what this says about her personality. I wish that she, and not her hands, were in focus.

Being a firm believer of the sentiment, I feel that a lot more could've been said with a crop of just her hands (since they are so expressive) with the mug. Although I am very well aware that this type of expressionism isn't liked a lot here.
