 A wide spread heron in South Africa,
It feeds on small mammals, reptiles and birds up to dove size.
In flight the underwing is mostly white.

Similar type of bird only all white that lives in Texas. They congregate in a series of trees near where I rode my bike sometimes and they are MESSY birds! Good composition on this one.
