Hey! I recognize that whale! Actually, I don't, but I thought it sounded good. anyway, having been hunting for whales, I know how extremely difficult it is to shoot them, particularly on a bobbing boat. And this one is sharp, well focused, with a good composition and colors. 7

Great looking shot. Excellent sharpness and it's nice and bright. Only nitpick is the hot spot in the shot where the whale ends and the water begins. Perhaps it's just a side effect of contrast adjustments? If so you can always adjust that in a new layer and erase any hot spots created with the eraser set a mid level opacity. (no vote)

Favourite animal to photgraph! Probably the long zoom hurts the sharpness in the flukes. Nice capture!
