 This is a drop of milk hitting a small amount of additional milk colored with food coloring. The surface is a piece of Plexiglas over a piece black foamcore. There are two bare flashes just out side the frame on either side of the splash, one an sb-800 and one an sb-28. The flashes are triggered when a drop passes through a photo gate.

This is stunning! A perfect splash and all those colors!! So clean too! I wonder how many tries this took! What a shot! I never tire of beautiful splash shots and this is a work of art!

Probably not the best sort of mirror to use for this sort of shot, as the depth of glass above the mirrored surface results in an 'echo'. A little cluttered for my taste, but certainly bright and cheerful!
