| This turned out nicely for your handheld issue. Those colors are dazzling and I like it quite a lot. On the 40D you can crank the iso a bit and get away with a shorter shutter speed. Also, you can go into burst mode and any little movement of hand or flower and that increases chance you'll get focus just right. |

| Yes, it could be sharper on the stamens, but you know what - I like it this way better. The softness adds to the gentleness of the flower. Nicely composed, and good color. |

I don't see any motion blur, I just see very shallow DOF. I think it works the way it is.
