It seems like many people want to go for detail in their subject. I think sometimes a wider view is better and perhaps so with this scene - possibly? |

Nice sharpness on the horses. Too bad the mother's tail is covering the baby's face. I wonder what this would look like with the background darkened or with a vignette. |

Sweet moment to capture. Don't know if you're a fan of this sort of processing but a duplicate layer blurred and blended in multiply mode lends a marvelous dreaminess which I think really suits this kind of image. Might be fun to try. |

This has the classic "awwww" factor for sure. I love that the mare is looking at you as the colt is completely lost in his afternoon snack. I wish that there were a bit more negative space around them, but the scene and the DOF are spot on. :~) |

A wonderful capture! I just love mummy horse and foal pictures. They seem to form a close bond which really comes over well in this shot in particular.
I see poppies in the foreground too. Lovely. |
