This is actually my pebbled glass deck table; it snowed a few inches last night, and now it's all melting. There's a smallish branch blown down from my oak tree.

Was this where the meteor crashed back around 1900?

I really like the colors and textures.

Thay does it, you can't comment on LB images with a headache! This shot makes me want to lie down in a darkened room - your work here is done Robt ;)

Looks like you were about to crash into Siberian tundra:) A cool effect, you're right about the miniature that the lens can have from time to time.

It DOES look like a bleak Siberian vista! Made me think of my No1 all-time favourite novel The Industry of Souls by the late Martin Booth. And as I've already hijacked your photograph I may as well tell you that Nos 2 & 3 on my list are To Kill a Mockingbird and Moby Dick.

It does give the feeling of being up high.

The effect gives it a kind of vibrating feel to it. Nice.

I feel like Jimmy Stewart in "Vertigo." WOW

Interesting! The more you open up the aperture on these things, the more abstract you can get.
