 This was taken between the snow fall coming from the mountain next to the temples area (Tōshō-gū). This is a big area mainly dedicated to the shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu.
I've now bought an SLR and can't wait to go back there and take hundreds of pictures in that area !

the stream of light from above really provides a nice 'feel' to the shot - but the extensive lens effects don't really work for me - especially the purple spot in the lower middle
