Walking around the kitchen I found this bright green cooking board and grabbed some tomatoes to go with it. I don't have much experience in lighting so any comments to improve world be appreciated.

I think the DoF is too shallow in this shot. The front tomato is so out of focus that it is distracting.

The colours are lovely, but I think more of the tomato needs to be in focus.

Nice choice of colours. I'm not sure if I would cropping out the edges of the board would make this stronger. seems to pull my eyes away from the slicing. would focus on the first tomato slice make it look better, as it is obvious he is slicing, but I can't really see what he is slicing?
