I took this portrait of my youngest, 14 year-old Ivy, with a 75 watt lightbulb in a cheap reflector lamp propped on a mike stand. The camera was set to reduced contrast to soften the shadows. This was cropped from a larger photo. //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=75287. I like the large photo as well but I decided I wanted her face to fill more of the frame. Any opinions?
I adjusted the Color Balance to reduce the yellowish cast caused by the lighting. Next, I adjusted the Hue/Saturation levels; first lightening and increasing the saturation levels of the Master color (overall color), then increasing the hue and saturation levels for blue.
