 Image Information: This is a photograph of fireworks in San Diego, CA. I got this image accidentally, because all my other images turned out bad as my tripod was broken. When I saw this image on my camera, I thought it might be a good image for the Fireworks challenge.

Post Challenge: I am very surprised at how well this image has done, as it's my first challenge on DPC. Votes were steady around 5.2 most of the week, but the last day they started dropping, ending at 5.0000 exactly. Thanks for all the comments!

Editing Details: The editing was very simple, all I did was cropping and I used a levels adjustment layer.

I thought at first I would take away points for the blur due to movement of the camera but the image itself is really pretty neat. The blur adds a lot more depth to the firework.

I love geometry. I think this is great. I don't really see porcupine, I see geometric ball. but its good.
