New Year's Eve celebrations at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town.

I took this photo from more than 10 km away from the fireworks display. At 200 mm focal length I still had to crop significantly to get a nice framing. Luckily it was a very clear night.

I was quite lucky to catch the "grand finale" of the fireworks, as my timing was a little hit and miss.

For editing I basically just bumped the contrast and color saturation to ridiculous levels, resized and sharpened.
