Irene - This was easily one of the best shots in the challenge. I am not sure what people were saying about 'too grainy'. I think someone confused texture with noise or something....

The top/bottom border really get in the way of an otherwise fine shot. The lighting and detail on the ring is excellent, but those two white lines in the borders are instead what grabs my eye instead of the ring.

Awesome detail on the ring top and the circle on the ring edge. I'm not sure about what it's sitting on or the border. Too many conflicting geometric shapes and angles, distracting from the subject. But very crisp and professional bw.
