This was more difficult than I thought.
The problem was that it was a grey foggy day, and I had the idea on the last day of the challenge.
I took the picture out of a picture frame and cleaned the glass. Then I stuck my camera onto the glass with some stickey tape. I had problems making it stick as the glass got damp in the 100 % humidity of the fog.
Anyway I managed to get it to stick and hung the frame up on my tripod & turned the phone camera on.
Next came the difficult part as I only had a monopod for my camera and most of my photos turned out unsharp.

I took this at F4 rather than F2.8 as I wanted the background to be recognizable as that on the phone screen.

Processing was:
Slight rotation and crop
levels
saturation.
All processing was done in lightroom.

I have to take a stab at how this worked in basic - I think you laid the phone on a monitor/screen and took the picture?

I'm not a fan of cell phones in photos but you were very creative! Did you use a window to fix this phone in this position? Well...great bokeh and great photo!

Interesting, a different take on the challenge. Can't say I'm overly fond of the floating cellphone though.

If only the window was clean!!!

That's a really good idea and well executed.

very nice. It's always nice when the bokeh actually adds to the image.

Did you attach the phone to a piece of glass/plexi? Pretty cool concept, one of my favs so far.

I love the idea and the illusion, but it would have worked so much better if you had washed that window (pane of glass) before the shot.

Where is the bokeh??? You have an OOF background and seriously doubt that this meets the challenge. Here is link that explains bokeh. //www.kenrockwell.com/tech/bokeh.htm

Cool idea. Very nice shot. It has an analogue photography feel to it, which adds to the meaning. Maybe I'm just reading into it too much ;)

Oh.. is the phone actually shot in front of an analogue photo? That could explain why i get that feeling..
