You would think that after freezing outside while I fought with my stinkin' malfunctioning ballhead to get the moon in focus that I would submit a straight shot and not try any of that Fractalius stuff.

Interesting FX. I can't decide whether I like it or not but it's well applied.

Oh wow. Before I read your comments, I thought it was a bathtub drain! This is an excellent use of the filter.

I thought this was a skylight of some sort, giving a peek to who knows what. I love the power of imagination and creativity to feed it!

You would think. ;) This is really cool looking - what is in the sky around the moon that was effected by the filter? Is it clouds, or light rays from the moon?

Love it, Ken. Reminds me of a wood cut.

Really outer space feeling. Have you tried the other stuff you get with the Redfield package? Maybe you only get fractalius by itself but that program is wild isn't it?

But if you'd done it the boring way we wouldn't have this fabulous shot - anyone can show us the moon - you show us a 'fractulius moon' - it's what you do!

Definitely an eyeball, and an angry one at that!

This is eerily similar to the shot of the moon I was trying to achieve yester eve - the moon through bamboo leaves. But I didn't have the tripod and couldn't get the exposure right. (I deleted them.)
This shot looks pretty cool, anyway.

The alien eye? Way cool. LOL about the totally serious shoot, and the totally artsy result.
