More blur in the background would be much nicer as bokeh. Nice idea and a timely pic!

This needs a bit of Work IMO. Nice idea - cool use of a shaped filter. I don't think the composition on santa is quite there, maybe slighly further back and sitting flat. Also this is a bit noisy - probably due to shooting at high ISO because it was dark. Try using noise Ninja or Neat image to sort these problems out.

Interesting concept with the xmas lights in the background.

I think what would really improve this photography is a touch of lighting on the subject. Right now, the light is quite flat, which does not add any definition to your santa. Try playing with some lights (even just desklamps) and move them around to see how it changes the quality and mood of your photo.

I don't see much Bokeh there, maybe blurry, but i think those colored trees could give much more than this! The object is not very creative and it's a little dark. Just think you could have done better! Sorry if i was rude!

being that I'd never heard of Bokeh and have spent the last week trying to learn about it and finding many varying opinoins on it is a tough one to judge
