The 85mm f/1.8 absolutely rocks! It rarely ever leaves my camera.
It is truly my most favorite lens ever in 30+ years, short of my Carl Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 back in my Contax 35mm days.
I've used it and the f/1.2 version, and prefer the f/1.8 due to it being able to AF faster - in a split-second, point & shoot moment, such as a once in a lifetime moment at a wedding, the f/1.8 will get it, while the f/1.2 version may or may not.

Thanks Brad, its nice to see this original and what can be done with simple light setup. Result is great I may have to look into the the 85 1.8!
