Greetings from the critique club...
You have chosen a good topic for a "before & after" challenge. My first impression is that you might have been able to simplify the photograph by only have either a)the grapes and the bottle of wine or b)the grapes and the glass of wine. Having just 2 subjects would make the photograph relate even more since most voters are probably looking for 2 distinct subjects.
From a technical stand point, the lighting could be just a smidge brighter. The pile of grapes also needs a lot more light as the center is very dark and we lose a lot of the details.

| A strong setup here, Rosemary, and I LOVE the way the leaves are echoed from the label to the glass! I think the lighting is pretty good. Do me a favor and take this into Photoshop and hit it with some brightness and contrast and see what you think. |

| Lighting could be better; the grapes look really dark in the middle. Also, do red grapes make white wine? |

Grapes to wine =o) Nice
I think the shadows are too strong in the grapes- especially next to the bottle. Other than that, nice set up, clean looking shot... Just not overly creative, but a nice simple shot. |
