 Taken from a rickshaw going at about 40 mph on the road between Sarnath and Varanasi. Sarnath is one of the poorest parts of Uttar Pradesh, rivalling the poverty levels in god-forsaken Bihar.

A powerful image - the malnourished child with arm extended, as though pleading for food.
