 I was asked to shoot some group photographs for our local fire department this evening.
They wanted me to shoot the scene at night, which caused the reflector tape and lights on the truck to appear very bright in the shots.
This is one of the out-takes.

good for you for getting so much into one picture and not making it look too busy. it's also nice that these guys get a memento like this - probably not something they often have time to do.

I think you might have needed just a little more light on the right. But, overall a great job with difficult conditions!

Thanks for sharing the story on this shot. It looks like a very difficult shot to me. The last time I worked with a group of individuals I found it very difficult. (They were my 9-12 yr old Girl's softball team) I think under the circumstances you pulled it off quite nicely. In the future I might have turned off the red and blue lights on the truck.

Nice lineup! The guys are looking a little washed out; maybe they need a little burning (ahahaha) to deepen their color?
