 Hmm. I just read the title for this challenge. I will probably get lots of DNMC votes.
Hope it exceeds a 5.0

This is 1 photo done in 2 parts.
Held a card over 1/2 the lens then opened the shutter in Bulb with a cable release. Using a radio trigger I manually fired the flash once.
Then Tommy turned around and I flipped the card over the other 1/2 of the lens and fired the flash again.
Lastly release shutter.
Unfortunately you can see the overlap a bit. Took loads of tries to get a 1/2 decent photo where everything matched up and the overlap was about right.

Anyway I have to submit it for my Olympics team.

very cute idea, too bad it was basic editing and you couldnt clean up the shadows of his move. great attempt

The effect is fairly subtle. I had too look at this photo a couple times before I realized what you did. Very hard to do, but well executed. 8
