I like this, I like how you made the trees take up more real estate in the composition than the subject - including so much of the environment gives the shot more impact, I think. I like the processing - has a metallic feel, suits the subject.

Very eerie to me, I'd never want to go in there and close the door! It would be a great view if the outhouse had a window :-)

i like how it is up against the woods so some wild animal can sneak up on you while you are in the john. scary!

We have those made of wood behind where my studio will be. While I probably won't be using them for photography props in my portraits, they are kind of cool by themselves :) hehe

No comment except I would never put my butt on that seat. I would rather do it behind the outhouse. I have this fear that a crap monster will grab me and pull me down and eat me, or just let me stand there like an idiot in sh**.

I see there's plenty of cover for the kids to chuck rocks at it whilst it is occupied. It actually looks quite dwarfed by the trees in the background.

LOL Looks a bit like the one we had when we first moved up to the beach, took a few months to get indoor plumbing (I never thought I'd get so excited over flushing a loo)
