 This is a shot of a tropical plant's leaf. To beat the winter photography blues, we went to the Botanical Garden and shot tropical plants and orchids. Quite a change from the brown and grey landscapes we have right now!

The lighting was quite harsh (almost noon) and coming behind the leaf. I am happy I was able to control it without loosing that "see through" effect. And the vignetting is natural and simply caused by the under exposure done to manage the highlights.

This is going to be a fun SC!! :)
