Huge dilemma with this shot. I'm absolutely not happy with this and I have no idea why I'm submitting it.
I would probably have given this a 5 on a good day...
The scenery is just nothing special and the frost on the weeds in the water didn't really come out well. Anything on the north side of 5 is a bonus here.

3 shots, one HDR, tonemapping

something is lost in the processing, maybe over sharpened?

Kind of 'Cartoon-ish' looking to me, but I like it. I think the photo would have been perfect if the barn or whatever the red thing is were not positioned behind the top of the tree. I was going to rate it at 9 but the 3D look is very cool to me. Very cool indeed...burrr! 10

I very much like the yellows you brought out in the grass. They go nicely with the blues of the water. I would have been tempted to clone out the barn just because it's exactly behind the tree. If it were more separate, then I'd keep it indeed as it adds a splash of color. 7

This does have a nice feeling but too uinatural for my tastes. Good Luck.

For me, there is no naturalness to this image - it looks more like a painting than a photograph. But with a painting, the composition can be better controlled. The tones and hues here are nice, but not enough to overcome the shortfalls of hyper-editing, flat lighting, and static composition. Sorry! I will say that the details in the grass really help. 5

beautiful scene, but the housing structures in the top-right break the 'spell' of a bucolic natural scene, and I think the composition sort of lacks a solid "subject"

I really like the colours in the foreground, but I find the background colours in the trees and sky a little dull in comparison. It's like two different photos.

Pretty location, photo has a bit of HDR-ness to it. Since the sky isn't adding much, I would have considered framing lower, giving more weight to the more interesting foreground. Also, the red building on the hill could have been placed a little better in the composition, bring attention to it more, by moving left or right. -- 6 --

This challenge has so many great shots, it's tough for me to look at one and instantly declare "this is a ribbon shot"... so I won't go out on a limb here, but this is my fav so far.
