Thanks for your comment on my "Salt & Pepper" image. That led me to look at your recent welder pics and your request for comments/suggestions.

Both images are good. So it depends on what you are going for. The action in the first one is centered on the welder and torch, which makes for a very direct impact. The action in the second is still taken up by the welder & torch but is shared with the space beneath the welder giving a broader viewpoint. So, since both are technically fine, you need only to decide on the emphasis you want. That, of course, is the hard part...
