 It snowed at Taylor and the belltower always looks fabulous in the snow. I was hiding behind a post in the library entranceway to get this shot...no idea who the guy is, but I knew who his friends were.

The long exposure, the light, and the blowing snow (or at least it looks like blowing snow) really make interesting textures.

The storminess, shadows and motion blur convey more "danger" to me than "shelter" - not to take issue with your title, I mean, but just to convey how your image contains the opposing sense, too.

I love how your shadow figure is almost bissected by the light. I love the intimidating commanding shapes (well composed). I love the strange concentration of detail in the doorway, largely unrecognizable but somehow familiar. I love how the light has texture, like it was scratched in.

Wow, I love the effect of the snow here. The light lining the frame of the door is absolutely perfect. Lol @ hiding behind a post.
