Well, I guessed wrong on which entry was yours. I thought something else was yours. Seems you are not the only one with that crazy Christmas lights idea.

It's just not appealing to me, though a good effort. I think perhaps the lighting is a little too harsh, and maybe part of it is that bright spot in the lower corner.

The focus is really good and I feel that you used backlighting in a good way, but the subject doesn't really pop out at me. Maybe add a candle and let the candle do the backlighting.

Mm, it's not very engaging. I like the two colors, but it just looks like a stature on a cloth.. sorry.
