 2 segments of red grapefruit placed together on a home made lightbox.
Lots of polystyrene involved, 2 spotlights and a sheet of tissuepaper. Sheet of glass to put the fruit on and away I went.
Dont peel grapefruit if you have cracked skin on your hands, it really really stings!
I hope this will be well recieved but I know its not as polished as some entries will be, first attempt at backlighting though so I can only get better!!

Converted from RAW adjusting white balance for tungsten lighting. Cropped, slight adjust on the colour curves to remove some yellow hue left over resize with bicubic sharpen.
