post challenge

thanks to everyone that took the time to vote and comment...
as with most of my shots, i went for something different from what surely would be the "standard" bench shot. melethia's comment is right on the money, i wanted to show the feeling of insignificance of one person and what they might feel is their place (or lack of) in a huge world going by that is oblivious to their existence. that is why i wanted the bench to be almost unoticed until you look closer.

I like the framing in the photo and the way you snuck the bench into the corner of the frame.

Among a sea of potentially exploitative street candids, this has a bit of interesting context. Thank you for deemphasizing the subject and adding an interesting scene. The framing from the trees along the top edge works well.

While the focus may not be the bench (at least perhaps not for the voters in this particular challenge) I do like how it shows the smallness of the person in contrast to the setting. There's a big wide world out there, but she sits on her bench, in her space.

maybe a different angle didn't really see the bench

perhaps a bit closer to the bench would help. Nice contrast.
